We believe that Parent Participation is key to the planning and development of services for disabled children.
We aim to:
- raise awareness of the impact of a wide range of disabilities
- Influence decision makers
- Provide views based on personal experiences
- Share information and provide support to other parents and carers
Parent Participation Guide
One Voice Parents’ Group and SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disability information Advice and Support Service – formerly Parent Partnership Service) have worked together to create a guide around how to ensure effective parent participation. To view this guide Click here.
The group is funded by a parent / carer participation grant from the Government and is part of a National Network of Parent Carer Forums.

Members of the group are either parents or carers of disabled children or others, who have an interest in making a difference for children with disabilities in Coventry. The group has a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
